Last week, we asked for your prayers as we headed to winter camp with 55 students and 7 leaders from our schools. And boy, did God answer! We’re thrilled to share that 50 of our 55 students gave their lives to Jesus for the first time or recommitted their lives to Him! This is truly incredible and a testament to the power of God’s Word and the impact of our ministry.
A Glimpse into the Weekend
- Cabin Time: These intimate moments were a highlight of the camp. As we gathered in cabins after each inspiring club talk, we delved deep into God’s Word. We discussed the message, our lives, and God’s promises. These conversations were marked by vulnerability, honesty, and a genuine desire to grow closer to Christ.
- Fun and Games: We believe that fun is an essential part of discipleship. Through games like capture the flag, dodgeball, and water balloon fights, we broke down barriers and created a relaxed atmosphere where students and staff could connect on a deeper level. These moments of laughter and camaraderie strengthened our bonds and created lasting memories.
- Meals Together: Sharing meals was a simple yet powerful way to build relationships. As we gathered around the table, we enjoyed delicious food and engaging conversations. These times of fellowship allowed us to connect with students on a personal level, offering encouragement, support, and spiritual guidance. We often used these opportunities to share Bible verses, such as “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen” 1 (Ephesians 4:29).
